Tech Call: On screen error message is WLMon.exe - Application Error
Hardware: Microsoft Windows XP on a laptop with a third party wireless PCMCIA card.
Client: For the last several weeks, 2 boxes have popped onto my screen: WLMon.exe - Application Error. The Application failed to initialize properly (OxcOOOO142). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Support Answer: These files are used to configure your adapter. Please make sure you have properly installed the software. If you encounter this problem again, please reinstall this software from your Linksys CD.
