Globalstage.com

In 1997 GlobalStage.com began as a web design company that was all about music and musicians. As an enhancement of our graphic design and CD manufacturing company, Big Dreams Studio which opened for business in 1991, GlobalStage.com was developed as a simple way to promote "local music" on a global scale. This way, not only was CD manufacturing and studio quality digital music editing available to the home grown musician without a music company's backing, but so was self-promotion of the artist's music.

Some made it and some didn’t. Actually, most didn’t. One made it big though. Big Dreams Studio made the CDs and GlobalStage.com made the website for the band Chevelle, now on Sony Records. Also, close friends, Urban Twang, are still gigging in the Chicago area. Their website was originally created and maintained by GlobalStage.com but they do it themselves now.

As a matter of fact, most didn’t have any money so GlobalStage.com went on a long hiatus. A very long hiatus. Now after several years and tons of learning about technology and the web, I’m using the Internet for what it was invented for ... making money.
